BUFFALO STAMPEDE ARE HUNGRY FOR A TITLE IN 2027

The National Advancement Football League (NAFL) proudly introduces the Buffalo Stampede as one of our 2A members for the 2027 season.

The Stampede join us in our inaugural season having last played in the NFA in 2025.

Founded in 2024, by team owner James Foster, the Stampede competed in the GDFL and qualified for the GDFL National Playoffs in their first season as an organization.

In 2025 the Stampede played in the NFA and made it to the NFA 2A Championship Game.

After a year off in 2026, Coach Foster is geared up and ready for he and his Stampede to make a run for the NAFL 2A Championship in 2027.

Coach Foster brings with him experience or running two professional teams in the Stampede and NY Falcons (Also a GDFL team). James is a certified high school and college football official who takes the game and it's rules very serious. His knowledge in this regard is an additional benefit to the league.

"Talking doesn't win games. hard work, effort and dedication will put you over the top"-James Foster.

Coach Foster has an extensive background in the flag football world as well having played and coached for over 20 years. Along the way he and his team were able to capture the 2005 USFTL National Championship.

The Stampede are a family affair with James's son JJ Foster serving as his Defensive Coordinator as well as his wife of 7 years, Monica serving as the team photographer.

"We are excited to have the Stampede on board with us this season. They have attained a high level of success in the short time they have been an organization. They say the third time is the charm, and this is their third season so we are expecting big things from them in 2027. Coach Foster is committed to doing things the right way not only for his team but for his opponents as well. We are blessed to have he and the Stampede with us as we build something special here at the NAFL"-NAFL CEO-Paul Pennington.
